Over 10 years of Experience and Continuing Education

After working as a trainer and manager of a fitness company for 4 years, I started Able Bodies Fitness in 1997. With that experience, my degree in business and management coupled with my fitness education through The National Academy of Sports Sciences (NASM), ISSA, and Future Fit, I began my company. With my own company I would be in full control of the high quality of service I could provide my clients. Working with people, helping them achieve their fitness and life goals is my calling. Fitness is more than just getting your body in shape. Fitness involves improving your health, your lifestyle, your energy and outlook, and your body. It is a lifestyle, and I am rewarded daily with helping people improve that lifestyle, their health, and their physique. My clients include people from all categories; from your every day working person to professional athletes and entertainers to new moms; from teens/ & young adults to 45 plus. Everyone, no matter from what walk of life, benefits from the extensive education, motivation, encouragement and integrated fitness approach I provide. Employing these principals is the key to my client's success. No matter what a client's level of fitness, I work with a systematic and personal approach that addresses their needs, and furthering them to higher levels and success.

I have been athletic my whole life, and always will be. It makes me feel alive! How do you feel? Exercise is preventative medicine. The statistics of health issues that thrive in an inactive person are staggering, but what is even more impressive is that it is scientifically proven that exercise can significantly prevent these diseases. Exercise is proven to help prevent heart disease, high cholesterol, diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer stroke, lung disease, osteoporosis, and lung disease. For people who suffer from a chronic disease, exercise can decrease discomfort, improve daily functioning and enhance overall quality of life. Don't ever settle for a "get in shape in 12 weeks!" gimmick, you have control over your own health by simply making exercise a part of your lifestyle.

Actually, it is Rocket Science. 

You may think all you have to do is go to the Gym and work the machines and lift weights or walk the treadmill to achieve the results you are looking for. Truthfully, there really is a science to how your body works and reacts to various forms of exercise, and you are not going to figure it out on your own. Everything from slight differences in your posture, the angle at which you hold your arms, or the intensity or speed at which you lift weights, etc. can make a big difference in the results you achieve. I have 10 years of experience in the fitness industry. I am certified and extensively educated through The National Acadamy of Sports Medicine-NASM. Additionally I am involved in continuing education courses every year to stay up with the latest techniques and research in fitness. NASM is the global leader in fitness education and sports medicine. The guidance and personal care I give my clients actually helps them finally achieve results they had been unable to achieve on their own, correcting fruitless and unsafe exercise habits, and generally helping them achieve a healthier lifestyle.

Results are what you really want, right? That is what you have been unable to accomplish on your own, maybe even after years of exercise. Get the results you are looking for; so you can really lose weight, become more tone, and increase your metabolism through building muscle (then your body naturally burns calories faster). You may have exercised before without results, but with my guidance and expertise, dramatic results will become evident in the way you look, and in the way you feel.
